Kissing Schools of Thought

            It was worrisome, your kissing

            When my ears tingled and
The hairs on the back of my neck
Began to dance and your topsy-turvy lips
            Left no holds barred

Because I knew you must have hit the books
Long and hard, so to speak,
            And stayed up late
            Lots
            To get so good

It would have been much easier
            No questions asked

            And fun

But I’m not built that way, I guess

Though come to think of it

            Until you went on strike
I never really thought that much about
            My education
